About Malazicious
Malazicious is the artistic identity of Malaz Alnajjar, a Syrian born multidisciplinary artist based in Hamburg, Germany. The name Malazicious combines Malaz with delicious, creating a playful and memorable identity that represents confidence, glamour, femininity, individuality and her own creative world.
Her work brings together drag, bellydance, performance, makeup artistry, beauty, fashion, modeling, hairstyling, photography and digital content. Rather than defining herself through one creative field, Malazicious combines these different forms of expression to create her own visual identity. Makeup, movement, fashion and transformation all play an important role in the way she presents herself both on stage and in front of the camera.
As a performer and drag artist, Malazicious is part of Hamburg’s queer and creative scene and has also performed in Berlin. Her artistic journey includes performances and appearances at Kampnagel, Haus 73 and Südpol in Hamburg, as well as the ADIRA Festsaal in Kreuzberg, Berlin. Her performances bring together drag, bellydance, expressive fashion, makeup and movement, allowing each appearance to have its own character and visual story.
Fashion is an important part of the Malazicious identity. Through outfits, styling and different aesthetics, she uses fashion as another form of self expression. Her interest in modeling gives her the opportunity to bring these ideas in front of the camera and experiment with different concepts, looks and visual identities.
Makeup and beauty are equally central to her creative work. As a makeup artist, Malazicious creates glamorous, artistic and transformative looks as well as beauty and bridal makeup. Her interest in hairstyling completes many of these transformations and allows her to develop an entire look rather than focusing only on makeup.
Her creative world also extends into social media and digital content. Through Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, Malazicious shares performances, makeup, fashion, beauty, modeling, lifestyle and moments from her everyday and creative life. On YouTube, she creates videos and vlogs that give viewers a closer look at her personality, experiences, creative projects and life behind the scenes.
Pinterest represents another side of her creativity and personal aesthetic. There she shares and collects visual inspiration, including makeup looks, fashion, aesthetic photography, food photography and other images that capture moments, details and ideas she finds beautiful or inspiring.
Alongside her creative career, Malaz works professionally as a Gesundheits und Pflegeassistentin in Hamburg, which is her main profession. Her work in healthcare represents an important part of her everyday life centered around care, responsibility and working with people, while Malazicious gives her the space to explore creativity, beauty, performance and self expression.
Malazicious is therefore more than one title or one type of artist. She is a performer, drag artist, bellydancer, makeup artist, fashion creative, model, YouTuber and content creator, while also pursuing her professional career in healthcare. From the stage to the camera and from a makeup transformation to a vlog, photograph or fashion look, these different parts come together to form the evolving world of Malazicious.

My Story
I was born in Syria in 2005. In 2016, I fled Syria with my family and made the journey to Germany. We travelled through Turkey, crossed the sea by boat to Greece and continued from Greece through Europe until we finally reached Germany. The journey took around five days and marked the beginning of a completely new chapter in my life.
After arriving in Germany, I learned German very quickly. For me, learning the language was not only about integrating and finding my own way in a new environment. It also allowed me to support my parents in everyday life, especially with letters, documents and official matters.
Growing up in Germany, I started becoming independent at a young age. Before beginning my professional training, I worked delivering newspapers, which was one of my first experiences earning my own money and taking responsibility for myself.
At around 15, I began understanding my identity more clearly. At 16, I came out. My family was not able to accept me for who I was at the time, which meant that I had to learn to stand on my own feet and build my own life at a young age.
From August 2022 to August 2023, I completed my professional training in Bavaria as a Gesundheits und Pflegeassistentin. After graduating, I began working professionally in healthcare, which remains my main profession today.
My journey eventually took me from Bavaria to Hamburg, the city I now call home. Social media also became an important part of my life. Through Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, I began sharing my personality, creativity and interests and gradually developed my artistic identity, Malazicious.
My passions include makeup, drag, bellydance, fashion, hairstyling, modeling, photography, creating videos and vlogs, traveling and discovering new places. Dance, creativity and community are also an important part of my free time. I regularly attend MEOW MONDAYZ at Bahnhof Pauli in Hamburg and also take part in Voguing classes.
What started as personal interests gradually became an important part of my creative life and personal development.
Today, I balance my career in healthcare with my creative life as Malazicious, continuing to perform, create and explore new sides of myself.
My journey from Syria to Germany and eventually to Hamburg has shaped who I am today. It is a story of starting over, becoming independent, embracing change, finding my own path and building a life that truly feels like my own.
